Slum Dog Millionaire

  • Mood: Adoration
  • Listening to: M.I.A. - Paper Planes
  • Reading: Never Let Me Go
  • Watching: Slum Dog Millionaire
Yikes... I'm stuck with the influenza... :(

But! There's good news too! The ski break was amazing! I have never had so much fun and so much fresh powder and off-piste snowboarding!

I also watched Slum Dog Millionaire and it was excellent. I love how colourful and beautiful the film is, but at the same time so realistic. The music was amazing and I really liked the main actors. The ending was the most romantic ending I had seen in a long time. I definitely recommend that film!

Some clubs I'm in (I'll edit the list at some point, too lazy now):

Ah the saying, "if life gives you lemons make lemonade"
What happens if you don't like lemonade? Or if you don't know the recipe?
If life gave ME lemons i think i'd say "And what the hell is this?" and throw them back. More satisfying that way...

today i saw Milk, it was pretty good

as a movie well... i normally don't go for the political type of Charlie Wilson's War movies and i felt a bit of that coming off from Milk, so the structure of the movie and the whole 1970's was annoying for me, but it's biographical so can't really help those details

Sean Penn's acting was amazing, however, and the movie really addressed well the main issues of human rights, specifically for gays, but also for other minorities, i found Harvey Milk's story and the film inspirational

Was it? Yeah, I want to see that.

Oh, it was more political, huh? :hmm: I'll have to check it out. I really don't like to make judgements before I see it, ya know. :)

I think Sean Penn has always been a marvelous actor! He just gives it his all, and I love him for that! Human rights is an important issue right now, which is why I adore that this movie was made. I think we need to have movies that focus on human rights more so, because it's such a crucial issue right now. :)

Thanks for the info on that movie though! I will definitely have to check it out when I get a chance! Take care!

Awesome book! :D

Spring allergy?

Life's good, since there only one week left. Why doesn't it sound a lot more comforting? (sigh)

:iconcolombina-san:
because summer break is filled with deadlines and tons of school stuff, and because you still have to survive one week of exams

yeah... i can't go outside without heinix or zyrtec and i can't tolerate i slightest mess in my room, because i have a mental association with filth and allergies just get worse

i hate that mom took away the air cleaner from my room...

It's incredible how dusty a room gets in a short amount of time. I wish they'd invent something that would eat it all away.

You can always sneak the air cleaner back in...unless she threw it away?
