Here where I am
It is so cold The stars are gone. Darkness has swathed my entire world. And the breaking glow of precarious beauty, The only light left, is ironically the proof The proof that I am here all alone Alone, alone, alone I have done it, I have destroyed it all And what about you You, who sits there, disparaging me. Why are you as pure as the twinkling early spring? While I am condemned to walk through the endless shadows But yet, you exist inside of me Just like I exist inside of you. You are me and I am you. If I am evil, then so are you If I am cursed, then so are you You could have stopped me, You could have interfered, You could have saved it all. Yet you chose not to And now we both will disappear Back to the stars, back to the beginning Yet I do ask myself: If I am evil, then so are you If I am cursed, then so are you But what if you are good, And kind And pure Then am I too? And as much as I would hate you, I still manage to love you. We exist in the same world, We are the same person, Me and you, Me and my reflection. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pencils: F, HB, 2B, 7B, Mechanical 0.7 & 0.5 Time: ~ 25 h Reference: Dove-Stock [link] Influence: Fabio Feminò [link] (C) Laura Leusko |
