"Don't be afraid," I murmured.
"We belong together."
I was abruptly overwhelmed by the truth of my own words.
This moment was so perfect, so right,
there was no way to doubt it.
his arms wrapped aroung me,
holding me against him...
It felt like every nerve ending in my body was a live wire.
"Forever," he agreed.

New Moon's your favourite?Really? You're one of the very few people I know who like it most:OCause you know...most of it is quite depressing:shrug:

I think my favourites are Twilight and Eclipse :aww:

yes, i agree, it is depressing... so depressing that even when i know that edward will be back and i have read the book several times, i still have trouble not jumping of a cliff when i read it

the reason i like it so much is that after all that angst and depression, all the romance just feels so much stronger and the part when they meet again makes me melt :aww:

i personally think eclipse has a lot of good parts, but as a complete book i didn't really find it that good, but when you ignore the structure and stuff and just focus on the characters and their stories, it's awesome, but i found breaking dawn better...

Well you've got a point. It does make things between them a great deal more...appreciated and precious.Like they say you realise how much you really need/lovecomeone only when you lose them*sigh*Or something like that.
I simply hate reading the part where Bella is trying not to remember but still...she's terrified to forget:no:
Stephenie Meyer is a brilliant author:heart::nod:

i think in terms of style and writing stephenie meyer sucks, i mean her books have no literature value whatsoever

but she's a really awesome psychologist, she knows what to say and the right time for it, and i can really relate to all her characters

the characters are also pretty strong in my eyes, and i always like strong characters

i didn't mean that she sucks sucks, but if you start to really analyze her style (you know, school stuff, comparing it to Bronte, Dickens etc.)

my point was more that even if the style in terms of its literary value sucks, it doesn't mean that the book doesn't appear good to its readers :)

i like it, even though my sister just gave me hell for reading "non-serious" literature...

I am not that well acquainted with many serious English authors:shrug:.I've read some Bronte and Jane Austen though:)But I guess I am not good at analyzing literature cause even though Twilight is more childish and well...not THAT deep ...(compared to some old classics)I still like it A LOT:heart:

But I get your point entirely

What other 'serious' literature wiuld you recommend me?:)

hmm... depends what you like...
one really good book is Wild Swans an autobiography of a chinese girl during the cultural revolution in China

tell me your theme preferences and i'll give you a list :aww:

i so agree... even though it's childlish when you really look at it, it just has this charm that pulls you to it and holds you captive for a long time
